My snowblowers left side blade stopped spining but the right side still spins. Why won’t the left blade work?

THERE IS A SHEAR PIN IN THE SHAFT OF THE AUGER. CHECK IT . IT’S PROBABLY SNAPPED OFF. YOU CAN USE A BOLT OR GET A PROPER SHEAR PIN FROM YOUR DEALER.

The cotter pin on my snow blower had broke off. Just check the other side to see what is there as they differ by make, and find the same thing.

If you don’t have a manual to give you the right information I was able to go on line using the information I found on the metal tag on my snow blower and get the mannual I needed fr the part number.
