Engine swap for Old Ariens snowblower?

I am looking to swap the engine on my old Ariens snowblower (70’s). I think it is a 5 horse Tecumseh and am looking to swap it with Tecumseh HSSK50-67418 5 H.P. Snow King Snow Blower Engine. How hard and will this work? Also, are there any other engines that would be EASIER to swap with (no modifications necessary). Thanks.

I swapped my engine out of an old ariens. First make sure that the mounting holes on the bottom are an exact fit. the shaft length is also important. If both of these match it is a very easy swap. If not you can go online to northern hydraulics and order the exact engine you need. That’s what did. The entire job took less than an hour.
