		<description>the spring is broken, take the complete assembly off the motor and take the assembly to the repair shop and let them put a new spring in it as they are a real pain to put in and get working right.</description>

		<description>It is possible that your spring is broken.  If it is a Briggs  Stratton motor, they use a flat ribbon spring that is replaceable.  You'll likely have to pull off the pulley to get to the spring assembly.</description>
