Snowblowers.cc vs. hp?
ds asked:
I’m looking to buy a good, reasonable priced snowblower. I think 10 hp and higher is best but I can only find snowblowers advertised in cc’s. What is a good cc? What is the difference? Thanks

Average conversion for CC to HP is around 15-17 CC = 1 HP
It all depends on the motor in question though. An F1 car has about 1500 CC and 1500 HP where as your average car may have 1500 CC but only 100 HP. Different engines different conversion.
Somewhere in the spec’s you should be able to find both bits of information. If you cant find it in the advertisements, try calling the manufacturer or looking on their website for the specs.
Good Luck!
